There is something about this year, it’s almost as if we’re being put through some kind of an astrological bootcamp. 2025 kick-started with Mercury and Venus retrogrades along with lunar and solar eclipses and as we all know, when Mercury or any planet for that matter, goes gatorade, things are bound to be a little wonky, or result in some serious self-reflection. It’s natural to be a little skeptical of the upcoming full moon in Libra taking place on the 12th of April. The Libra full moon is also often referred to as the April Pink Moon, which is inspired by the widespread bloom of the North American wildflower pink moss phlox which occurs at this time of the year.

But fret not, this full moon is set to bring in a sense of emotional healing, spiritual growth and balance. This is why when it comes to romantic relationships, the theme around the April Pink Moon is all about recognising how we exist in these relationships, where we may have been enabling imbalance in our love lives. And if you’ve been feeling an instinct to manifest better circumstances for your romantic life during this pink moon, we’ve got some wonderful rituals you can try out yourselves. Read on…

Rituals To Manifest A Healthy Love Life This Pink Moon

We reached out to some of the coolest astrologers we know to give us the tea on what kind of rituals can serve our love lives, and there are two major ways you can go about this; The first is by working on your mental space and inner world, and the second is by nurturing yourself with self-love practices. Take a look at what both ensue!

April Full Moon Rituals For Your Mental Space

New York City-based astrologist and wellness practitioner Kesaine Walker tells us that there is no better way to improve one’s love life than to practice self-love. She emphasises investing time, energy, intention and care into yourself. According to Kesaine, here are some things you can do to manifest that dream-love life.

    Use positive affirmations

“Speak kindly to yourself and use affirmations to help you embody what you’d like to become your reality,” Kesaine shares with us. Here are the top three affirmations that she suggests:

“I am worthy of love that is safe, secure, and stable.”

“I am deeply loved and very lovable”

“My heart is open, and I attract relationships where my heart is seen and protected.”

Take yourself on a solo date

“Romanticize the relationship you share with yourself by taking yourself out on solo dates. Be gentle and compassionate with yourself, and create rituals that make you feel nourished and cared for. I find that you become a magnet for all of your heart's desires when you shift your frequency by pouring love, time, and attention into yourself,” she shares with us.

Bonus Tip: Kesaine also shares the importance of learning the art of saying “No” and drawing boundaries for oneself. “Walking away from relationships (or anything in general) that doesn’t energize you, leaves the door open for something better. This is a powerful manifestation technique.”

    Spend time in nature

While you may feel an urge to let go of the self-reflective mode you’ve been in throughout the retrograde, spiritual coach Zohra Shakti points out that there is no need to rush and it is important to take your time to integrate all the lessons you’ve learnt, so that you can make wiser decisions and let go of the old story you may be holding onto.

So, she suggests taking out time to spend time connecting with yourself. “Spend some time in nature, maybe even next to a water body, as water is a balancing and calming element. This time spent in nature is really just a way for us to hear the quiet whispers of our soul.”

    Make a list

Mumbai-based certified western astrologer Neha Dhanuka suggests making a list, or rather two. She tells us to grab a piece of paper and fold it in half to create two comparative lists on each side. “On one side of the paper, write down everything in your life that you have been pouring your energy into, but are not getting what you deserve in return from. For instance, situationships or certain habits.”

On the other side of the paper, describe a reciprocal version of the same things. For example, What it would feel like to be in a long, loving relationship. Consider these instructions to the universe on what you want to Manifest,” she tells us.

“In the end, say the words ‘I no longer fund what fails to fuel me and I call my power back to me. Fold this paper into two and either burn it or shred it to pieces. Then find some stillness by taking three deep breaths!”

April Full Moon Rituals To Nurture Yourself

Now that we’ve learnt how to take care of internal worlds, we dug around a little more and asked for advice on how to practice self-love or use tools to invoke love in one’s life.

    Attend a sound bath

Zohra tells us that sound baths are the perfect way to invite peace and invite into our lives “Attending a sound healing session could be a great idea at this time!”

    Do a crystal meditation

She goes on to tell us that a crystal meditation with a rose quartz is another great ritual you can practice. But if you have slightly different goals in mind for this Pink Moon, then you can try other crystals as well.

“If you’re looking for clarity, then meditate with a clear quartz or a himalayan quartz. And, if you’re in the process of leaving old cycles behind, then a black obsidian will help you clear out the negative energy or influences from your life,” Zohra shares with us.

    Light a candle

New York City-Based astrologer, energy healer and life coach Lisa Stardust shares how important it is to honour planet Venus this Pink Moon. “This lunation is in Libra, so it’s ruled by Venus which is why we should honor the tender romantic energy of the planet.”

Lisa also tells us that lighting a pink candle might just be the perfect way to find some answers regarding your love life. “Honor Venus by lighting a pink candle (the color of Venus) to get clarity on romantic matters.”

    Take a relaxing bath

Going by the theme that Lisa has presented us with, another great way to honour planet Venus is by taking care of yourself and unwinding. “Take a bath with roses and Himalayan salt to invite love into your life and cleanse your aura,” she explains.

    Get That Manicure

Author and astrologer Lisa Stardust also highlights the importance of booking a manicure and pedicure and giving yourself some TLC. “Treat yourself to a mani-pedi to indulge in self-care during this Full Moon,” she concludes.
