Alia Bhatt is known for her sartorial choices and now, she's just dropped some major bridesmaid style inspiration. At a recent appearance, the actress chose to wear a Benarasi silk skirt set by Anita Dongre. The beautiful green set was covered in flora and fauna motifs, including flowers, trees, birds, and tigers. While the original runway look was worn as a skirt and top, Alia wore it like a lehenga by adding a plain green skinny dupatta, giving it a more traditional touch, along with a beautiful drop-waist detail. The high-waisted garment had a broad yoke, connected with fine pleats, extending into an A-line skirt.

She completed the look with huge chandelier earrings, a couple of rings, and a little bindi. For the make-up, she went for dewy skin, nude lips, and lots of kohl and wore her hair in beachy, middle-parted waves. But what also grabbed attention was her stunning micro blouse. The tiny, strappy blouse had a dramatic plunging neckline, and it looked glamorous, indeed!

Micro Is Hot

We sure see this trend becoming big in the season ahead. It’s so striking that it will become the main character of any look and single-handedly elevate the overall aesthetic. Bridesmaids, we suggest you take a cue from Alia and go for sultry, statement micro-blouses as you plan your wedding look. And no, we don’t mean the barely-there kind, but the super sexy, tastefully-done risqué blouses.

How To Wear It

You can opt for a sexy bandeau blouse, a triangle cut bralette, or even an underwire bralette. Wear it with a lehenga, sari, or a sharara. You can choose to pair it with something super glam, like an embellished bodycon skirt at a cocktail, or something traditional, like a rich brocade lehenga skirt for the wedding. Your options are endless!
