Time and again, luxury brands such as Bulgari have shown keen interest in India's rich, cultural heritage and its luxury market.

The brand made its mark and indicated the importance of India's cultural and financial affluence by launching its first mangalsutra in 2021. The campaign for the necklace featured global ambassador Priyanka Chopra Jonas. Earlier this year, the Italian House launched another India-exclusive design known as the B.zero1 Kada Bracelet.

Tomorrow, Bulgari is all set to launch the Bulgari Bulgari Mangalsutra Sautoir Necklace. The Italian House has been paying special attention to India. In aninterview toForbes India, Jean-Christophe Babin, Bulgari’s CEO said, "If we pay respect to Indian traditions, leverage its icons properly and understand local designs well, India for us could easily enter our top 10 markets in the next five years, and the top five in the next 10 years."

Babin, Bulgari’s CEO, comments “The Bulgari Mangalsutra Sautoir Necklace beautifully blends our Roman heritage with Indian traditions. This piece showcases our dedication to honouring diverse cultures and also highlights our commitment to modern elegance. We are thrilled to present this second exclusive creation, which celebrates both Bulgari’s timeless charm and the dynamic spirit of contemporary Indian women. We take great pleasure in catering to our Indian audience, creating designs that resonate with local traditions while enhancing our global vision of luxury and sophistication.”

The design is similar to the earlier edition of the Mangalsutra. The Satoir Necklace features a small disc encased in double-logo gold circles and lit by lit by pavé diamonds that characterise the ‘Bulgari Bulgari’ and ‘B.zero1’ lines, together suspended from a chain dotted with black onyx beads.

The new Bulgari Bulgari Mangalsutra sautoir necklace is available to purchase in Bulgari-selected stores.

For Manifest to become one of Cambridge Dictionary's most viewed words of 2024 — 1,30,000 hits and counting — it means some of us must have Googled it at least once. I know, I hit that search button over and over again
because each time I looked at it, I saw a new meaning.

Putting together a homegrown title at a time when the demise of print has been long announced may seem surprising...
...but it has long been a dream of mine to give India a magazine it deserves. A magazine that is the country.

And nothing, absolutely nothing, represents India more than our weddings. It is a time when families are brought together. Traditions come alive as they are adapted to each couple's beliefs. And lives are joined in a way that the romantic in me still enjoys.

The fact that it comes with band, baaja and baraat — what's not to love? And that is the reason our first issue celebrates:
    THE NEW BRIDE.
