The wedding season is on us, and if you are a bridesmaid-to-be, chances are that you are knee-deep in outfit shopping right now. We get it—it can be hard. Between being the bride’s personal cheerleader, unofficial photographer, and surviving hours of shopping without collapsing…being a bridesmaid is practically a full-time job. Finding your perfect outfit can be overwhelming. If you haven’t been able to keep a track of all the coolest trends of the season thanks to all the craziness around you, we’ve got you covered. Read on!

Coolest Trends Of The Season For Bridesmaids

    Lehengas with column skirts

Sure, we love lehengas with super voluminous skirts, but this season, skirts are getting sexier and sleeker. We don’t know about you, but we have always gravitated towards skirts with more streamlined, minimal, and contemporary silhouettes. And now, they’re in trend too. They’re easy, effortless, and super sexy. We love a lehenga twirl moment, but what’s cooler right now is this beautiful fitted silhouette that flatters curvy and tall women beautifully. They look beautiful with all kinds of blouses—bandeau blouses, corsets, shirts, you name it!

    Micro-blouses

Move over boring blouses, itsy-bitsy blouses are the flavour of the season. From tiny halter neck blouses to bandeau blouses, we’re loving blouses that almost look like they’re two sizes smaller. They’re fun, sexy, and playful. We’re officially done with basic blouses, and we’re only wearing these tiny blouses this wedding season.

    Purple

Our forever favourite, purple has found its way back too being cool, and we intend to fully embrace this beautiful color this wedding season. And we’re not talking about any purple, we’re talking about the most bold, bright, and beautiful shade of them all: aubergine purple. You can not walk into a room wearing this beautiful color and not have everyone take notice. I mean, there is a reason why Madhuri Dixit’s look from Didi Tera Dewar Deewana still remains one of the most iconic looks!

    Rani pink

Speaking of colors that make everyone take notice, Rani Pink is a close second. If you love making an entrance and are not afraid to be the center of attention, Rani pink is your perfect match. Designers like Punit Balana, Abhinav Mishra, Raw Mango have embraced this beautiful color in their recent collections, and we are here for it!

    Sarees with corsets

Another blouse trend we’re totally crushing on for the wedding season it corsets. While corsets in general are big right now—corsets with lehengas, draped skirts, pants—we’re particularly loving corsets with sarees. Sheer sarees, printed sarees, metallic sarees, embellished sarees, this beautiful blouse looks beautiful with all kinds of sarees!
