Bvlgari’s creative director, Lucia Silvestri, drew from the sight of celestial constellations against the Roman skyline, envisioning a piece that would capture both the beauty of the cosmos and the architectural elegance of the Eternal City.

The unique, dome-shaped sapphire symbolises the iconic Roman domes, while its deep, velvety blue hue seems to distil the entire night sky into a single, magnificent entity. Beyond the central gem, the Cosmic Vault Necklace is a truly showcase of Bvlgari’s masterful craftsmanship. Forged over 1,500 hours, the necklace is a symphony of balance and brilliance, composed of over 200 meticulously arranged modular elements. These elements are designed to ripple and move with the wearer. The necklace also features 331 custom-cut sapphires and numerous buff-top sapphires and pear-shaped diamonds, all working in harmony to complete this extraordinary vision of a star-filled night sky framed by Roman grandeur.

In the Cosmic Vault Necklace, every curve and contour is striking; they are designed to bring out the movement of stars in orbit, and it is a delicate geometric design with light interplay.
