Jayanti Reddy’s new collection at ICW 2025 holds centuries of tradition and reflects subtle luxury across her ensembles…

A love letter to womanhood, Jayanti Reddy’s new collection ‘Reclaimed Opulence’ in every sense. The sixth day of Hyundai India Couture Week 2025, in association with Reliance brands, an initiative of FDCI, was nothing less than an embellished dream. With sequins and elegance dripping through every single silhouette, Jayanti Reddy unveiled a collection shaped by legacy, refined by time and made for now.
A reflection of the careful craftsmanship, her garments hold centuries of tradition and quiet intention and are an ode to subtle luxury and heritage reimagined. Jayanti Reddy’s Reclaimed Opulence was a collection dazzling with a craft-led approach that celebrates antique textiles with Dori work, ornate blooms, birds' paisley, baroque art and deco grids.

Her new collection breathes life into leftover textiles and embroidery archives from past creations, blending time-honoured techniques with contemporary silhouettes. Romantic, whimsical and layered with fringes and tassels, her ensembles ranged across vibrant colours. Starting the show with embellished whites to refined reds, emeralds, mustard, mint and even purples and golds, the collection sought to redefine Indo-western looks and catered to modern audiences on the global stage.

Opened by a mix of songs by Lisa Mishra, an American singer, songwriter and actress, Jayanti Reddy’s show rendered spectators speechless with an evening that was soulful to the core. With a collection drowning in clever details, Jayanti Reddy’s pieces are not just to be worn but to be treasured and passed for generations, rooted in her commitment to upcycling and ethical craftsmanship.

Rich in its details, the collection featured 50 looks- 35 womenswear and 15 menswear- and while the women’s collection featured artful garments from plump corset lehengas to embellished sarees and jackets featuring ornate embroidery, whimsical motifs and dynamic layering, paired with exquisite Kishandas jewellery, the menswear collection was well-thought-out. A statement of the collection, a sling bag for men had jaws dropping, last evening, making a bold declaration that bags do not follow genders and can be carried by modern men of today.

From a deep red corset lehenga to a one-shouldered cape, Jayanti Reddy’s collection is an ode to the modern bride and bridesmaids who want to carry traditions into their ensembles but give them a modern touch that reflects who they are while also not leaving the men behind. From embellished sherwanis to rich in artistry Kurtas and pagdis, Jayanti Reddy’s collection featured an unmissable essence.
Actress Janhvi Kapoor turned showstopper and closed the show for Jayanti Reddy in a blush pink saree with intricate embellishments, leaving spectators in absolute awe.
