Roseroom By Isha Jajodia Amalgamates Lace With Structure At ICW 2026

Day 3 of the FDCI Hyundai India Couture Week saw Roseroom by Isha Jajodia’s showcase, centered around the coexistence of softness and strength. The collection, titled ‘Softly, Strong’, explored the idea that softness and strength have never been opposites. 

The set for the show was unmistakably Roseroom. With delicate ivory curtains, chandeliers, and lots of candles, the set up leaned into the house’s signature, romance. The music for the show was also soft and mellow, further adding to the romance. 

Carol Gracias opened the show in a pristine ivory outfit with a feathered skirt, matching blouse with bell sleeves, an under-bust corset, and a frilled collar. This was followed by a series of ivory looks including feathered blouses with draped skirts, dresses with massive bows, barrel-shaped skirts, off-shoulder saris, and fringed dresses.

After ivory, the colour palette slowly transitioned into soft pastels like sage green, ice blue, blush pink, and peach. This set of looks included saris with jackets, A-line lehengas, concept saris, off-shoulder gowns, dresses with voluminous skirts, and some more fringes.

And finally, the colour palette transitioned into deeper shades like teal green, emerald green, black, and red. Here we saw halter-neck gowns with fishtail skirts, midi dresses with feathered skirts, lehengas, balloon pants, and pant suits. 

The styling of the show was minimal yet beautiful. One noteworthy element was the crescent-shaped wedding bouquets that a lot of the models were holding. Romance galore!

Finally, Avanti Nagrath closed the show in a dreamy black lace dress. The dress featured an intricate black lace top that closely hugged her body, paired with a matching corset, which transcended into a super voluminous mini skirt that had fringes hanging from it. This was paired with matching lace tights. 

In conclusion, the collection was an extension of the soft and feminine sensibilities that Roseroom is known for, fused with a lot of sharp, structured tailoring. Our picks for the key trends spotted include fringes, bows, and barrel-shaped silhouettes.
