5 DIY masks for monsoon breakouts suggested by a dermatologist

Instead of going for harsh chemical treatments that might further damage your skin, you can combat these with 5 simple, homemade face masks made with natural, skin-loving ingredients, That were all suggested by Dr Neeraj Pandey, a Dermatologist at Derma Clinic in Lucknow Apply these two times a week for about 15 minutes and wash with cold water.

You’ll need 2 tablespoons Multani Mitti (Fuller’s Earth), 1 teaspoon Neem Powder, 1 teaspoon Rose Water, A few drops of Tea Tree Oil (optional). Neem fights acne-causing bacteria, and Rose Water soothes irritation. Ideal for all skin types.

1 teaspoon Turmeric, 1 tablespoon Honey, 1 teaspoon Curd. Turmeric is antibacterial, honey hydrates, and curd helps soothe and brighten. Works for people with all skin types.

2 tablespoons Oatmeal (powdered), 2 tablespoons Aloe Vera Gel, A few drops of Rose Water. Oats calm inflammation, aloe hydrates and cools irritated skin. Ideal for people with a dry skin type.

1 tablespoon Green Tea (brewed and cooled), 1 teaspoon Lemon Juice, 1 tablespoon Multani Mitti. Green tea fights acne-causing bacteria, lemon brightens and controls oil. Ideal for people with an oily skin type.

1 tablespoon Sandalwood Powder, 1 teaspoon Neem Powder, A splash of Rose Water, Sandalwood reduces redness, neem combats bacteria, and rose water refreshes. Works for people with all skin types.
