Soon-to-wed couples, take notes!

Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi have always been private about their relationship. The couple began dating in 2021 and kept it under wraps till the Stranger Things actress shared a photo of them kissing on her Instagram. After an engagement in 2023, Millie and Jake tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Tuscany, Italy, in September 2024.

Despite being very young (Millie was 20 and Jake was 22 when they got married), the couple knew immediately that the other was The One for them. “After we met, we knew we never wanted to leave each other’s side. You can’t pinpoint why (someone is 'the one'), it’s just the feeling of knowing that that’s the person you want to spend the rest of your time with,” she had said in an interview with The Sunday Times.

In a recent interview with Vanity Fair, Millie opened about living on a farm with Jake and what made her sure about her decision to get married at an early age. She revealed that she made sure to get on the same page with Jake about several things before getting married. “We were pretty united going into it,” she says, “We talked about our political views, what kind of family we want to build, the kind of home we want to live in, the kind of relationship we’re looking for, the kind of careers we want. It’s such an important decision, and we wanted to make sure we were making the right one. I knew I was. It always felt right with him.”

She also shared the most important lesson she has learned after being married over the past few months. “Loving someone and being in love are two different things,” she says. “I think I loved a lot of people I was with, like I loved my friends. But he is the first man I’ve ever loved and been in love with. If we’re not fully invested, then what’s the point? We have to be, and we always have been.”
BRB, manifesting a love like this for 2025!
