    Spring of Youth

    Tastefully Yours

There seems to be a growing trend of K-dramas centred around the theme of romance mixed with food, like Brewing Love and The Potato Lab. In this one, we follow Han Beom-woo, the heir to a large food company, and Mo Yeon-joo, a rural chef working at a one-table restaurant in the remote countryside. Their philosophies about food couldn’t be more different, and that adds fuel to their chemistry when their lives unexpectedly become intertwined.

    Second Shot At Love

Girls’ Generation member Choi Soo-young stars in this romance drama about an alcoholic mechanic who decides to mend her ways. Han Geum-joo, a veteran small-town mechanic, proclaims to be a “reasonable drinker”, when she’s actually an alcoholic. When her first love Seo Ui-joon comes back to their town as a public centre head who despises alcohol, she decides to get back on the wagon for good. Can she succeed for love?

    Dear Hongrang

Based on Jang Da-hye’s Tangeum: Swallowing Gold, the drama is a must-watch for lovers of historical romances. Set in the late Joseon dynasty, the drama follows the heir of a powerful merchant family who mysteriously disappears when he was eight. He returns to his family after 12 years, seemingly with no memory of the past and some sinister secrets of his own. His stepsister Jae-yi wants to uncover the secret behind her brother’s disappearance and figure out the true identity of the man who has returned in his place after all those years.

For Manifest to become one of Cambridge Dictionary's most viewed words of 2024 — 1,30,000 hits and counting — it means some of us must have Googled it at least once. I know, I hit that search button over and over again
because each time I looked at it, I saw a new meaning.

And nothing, absolutely nothing, represents India more than our weddings. It is a time when families are brought together. Traditions come alive as they are adapted to each couple's beliefs. And lives are joined in a way that the romantic in me still enjoys.
