Sachin Tendulkar confirms son, Arjun Tendulkar and Saaniya Chandok's wedding, extends invitation to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

    It is celebration time for the legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar as he confirms his son, Arjun Tendulkar’s wedding with Saaniya Chandok. According to reports, Arjun is set to tie the knot soon with business tycoon Ravi Ghai’s granddaughter and his long-term love, Saaniya Chandok.

    The cricket legend took to his Instagram handle on February 10, 2026, and shared several posts confirming his son’s wedding. One post featured Sachin and his family, along with Arjun and Saaniya, posing alongside Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In the photo, Sachin can be seen wearing a navy-blue kurta and an ivory-hued pyjama, while Arjun has donned an ivory-hued kurta with white pyjamas. Saaniya can be seen wearing a pink salwar suit. Sachin, in his post, inviting Prime Minister Modi, to Arjun and Saaniya’s wedding, wrote, "We were honoured to invite Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji to Arjun and Saaniya’s wedding. Thank you, Modi ji, for your blessings and thoughtful advice for the young couple."

    Additionally, he extended an invitation to President Droupadi Murmu and Home Minister Amit Shah to Arjun-Saaniya’s wedding. Sharing a few pictures with the honourable President, he wrote, "Last February, Hon’ble President Smt. Droupadi Murmu ji graciously hosted us at Rashtrapati Bhavan. We relived some of those cherished memories when we met the President today to invite her to Arjun and Saaniya’s wedding. Thank you for your warm wishes, Hon’ble President." He went on to share some pictures alongside Amit Shah and captioned it, "We cordially invited Hon’ble Home Minister Shri @amitshahofficial ji to Arjun and Saaniya’s wedding. Thank you for the warmth extended to our family. We deeply appreciate your kind wishes.”

    While a date for the big day has not been revealed, Sachin had shared a glimpse of the guest list. He has also extended an invite to Indian politician Rahul Gandhi. According to TOI, the wedding preparations are in full swing and the festivities are set to begin on March 3, 2026, with the wedding taking place on March 5 in Mumbai. The wedding, much like the couple’s engagement in August 2025, is set to be an intimate affair.
