Singer Armaan Malik and fashion influencer Aashna Shroff surprised fans earlier today by dropping pictures from their wedding on Instagram. The couple, who got engaged in 2023, got married in a seemingly intimate ceremony.

In pictures, the couple looks resplendent in their peach-toned coordinated ensembles by Manish Malhotra. The joint post from the couple was captioned “Tu hi mera Ghar(You are my home)”.

For their pre-wedding ceremonies, the couple planned a regal 'Mehfil-e-Mehndi' where the bride and groom wore coordinated Anamika Khanna outfits.

The couple's cocktail ceremony, the 'Big Bow Affair', had them donning Shantnu Nikhil ensembles with, you guessed it, big bow details! "Ever since we started talking about getting married, both of us shared a very similar idea for our cocktail. We envisioned ourselves in white, and we couldn’t think of a better choice to help this come to life other than Shantanu & Nikhil, and how beautifully the bow details tied in with the evening," wrote Armaan in the Instagram caption.

The couple, reportedly, had been dating since 2017 and got engaged in August 2023. In an interview with E Times, Armaan opened up about the romantic proposal, saying, “I really wanted to propose to Aashna by singing an original song. Also, with the proposal a lot of things happened spontaneously and in the flow. I told her we were going to a sporting event. And at the venue, I was there with the guitar standing and then on my knees. It was a very organic proposal in a way. It was beautiful to have our family there as well, which was a mammoth task, and we were in our favourite city which is London. I'm so glad that it all fell together.”

The engagement pictures showed Armaan on a bent knee, putting on a ring on a delighted Aashna’s finger, with the caption, “and our forever has only just begun (sic)”.

Here’s wishing the couple a lifetime of happiness.

For Manifest to become one of Cambridge Dictionary's most viewed words of 2024 — 1,30,000 hits and counting — it means some of us must have Googled it at least once. I know, I hit that search button over and over again
because each time I looked at it, I saw a new meaning.

Putting together a homegrown title at a time when the demise of print has been long announced may seem surprising...
...but it has long been a dream of mine to give India a magazine it deserves. A magazine that is the country.

And nothing, absolutely nothing, represents India more than our weddings. It is a time when families are brought together. Traditions come alive as they are adapted to each couple's beliefs. And lives are joined in a way that the romantic in me still enjoys.

The fact that it comes with band, baaja and baraat — what's not to love? And that is the reason our first issue celebrates:
