Congratulations seem to be in order for Jeff Bezos and fiancé Lauren Sánchez as they have finalised their wedding date and sent out invites. The couple has been engaged for nearly two years.
The Amazon founder and the former TV anchor are reportedly getting married this June aboard their $500 million yacht Koru off the coast of Venice, Italy.
Rumours about their nuptials have been swirling around ever since the couple confirmed their engagement. In 2024, it was reported that Bezos and Sánchez would get married during Christmas time in Aspen in a $600 million wedding. However, the billionaire had denied the rumours with a post on X, formerly Twitter. He wrote, “This is not credible. Unless you are buying each of your guests a house, you can’t spend this much money. Furthermore, this whole thing is completely false — none of this is happening.”

Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez went public with their relationship in 2019 and got engaged in May 2023. In an interview, Sánchez revealed that the billionaire had popped the question while they were on vacation on their yacht in the South of France. According to her, Bezos had treated her to a starlit dinner after which she had found the engagement ring hidden under her pillow.
Bezos had proposed with a diamond engagement ring with a nearly 30-carat unique pink diamond set on a platinum band.

The couple had celebrated their engagement with two parties, one abroad Koru on the Amalfi coast had fellow tech giants and celebrities like Kris Jenner on the guestlist, and the other in Los Angeles. The latter was attended by celebrities like Oprah Winfrey, Salma Hayek Pinault, Miranda Kerr, Robert Pattinson and Suki Waterhouse.
While other details of their upcoming wedding haven’t been confirmed, Sánchez had admitted that she was partial to designers like Christian Dior and Valentino for her wedding dress.
