Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi got married in an intimate ceremony in Tuscany, Italy, and only revealed the news a month later to their fans. The couple hard launched their marriage by dropping beautiful pictures from the ceremony on Instagram.

Over the past few months, the Stranger Things actress has opened up about their relationship, including some of the details from their dreamy Italian nuptials.

Millie Bobby Brown recently appeared on Alex Cooper’s Call Her Daddy podcast and shared details about what went on behind planning her wedding and the actual ceremony itself.

“It’s lightning in a bottle — the feeling is unmatched,” she said. “I will say, as much as I did control every factor of it. I remember everything about the ceremony, the vows. I remember the feeling, not caring.”

The actress went on to add, “My guests were stood up for most of our ceremony ‘cause we forgot to tell them to sit down, and even that, I’m like, ‘I just don’t care.’ I love it, it’s just part of it, it’s the story you get to tell. And after, I let the reins go and whatever happens now is just fun.” Are you listening, brides?!

For their first dance as a couple, Millie and Jake went all out. The actress and her fiancé prepared a six-minute long choreographed routine on some of Grease’s most popular tracks.

“We dressed as Sandy and Danny — it was epic. It was unbelievable,” she recalled. “People could not believe what they were hearing. And that was the only thing I looked to Jake and I was like, ‘If you let me down on this… we have been practicing for a year and a half.’ ” Thankfully, the couple “did not miss one beat”.

“We went to dance lessons, like that, it was very, very strict for me. I’ve always wanted to do that,” she said. “I’m either going to do that or dance down the aisle, so it’s you choosing, and Jake was like, ‘OK, we’ll do the other one.’ But he loved it, he absolutely loved it.”

This was not the only well-thought-out detail from her wedding that made it special. The actress revealed that she wrote her own vows for the ceremony, which clocked in at about six minutes too!

“People were like, ‘When’s it going to end?’” she said. “I’m an actor, I cannot help it,” she added. “I had to say everything I felt. I was like, ‘And one more thing.’”

Brides, take cue from Millie for your weddings. If you want to make something happen, tune out the noise and make it happen!

For Manifest to become one of Cambridge Dictionary's most viewed words of 2024 — 1,30,000 hits and counting — it means some of us must have Googled it at least once. I know, I hit that search button over and over again
because each time I looked at it, I saw a new meaning.

Putting together a homegrown title at a time when the demise of print has been long announced may seem surprising...
...but it has long been a dream of mine to give India a magazine it deserves. A magazine that is the country.

And nothing, absolutely nothing, represents India more than our weddings. It is a time when families are brought together. Traditions come alive as they are adapted to each couple's beliefs. And lives are joined in a way that the romantic in me still enjoys.
