News of this surfaced after she went public with her proposal pictures—she took to her social media handle on Instagram on Monday and shared a series of pictures from her proposal in a collaborative post with her beau. One of the images from the carousel showed Myles—a steadicam operator and a colourist—on his knee as he proposed to Dishani while another picture captured her flaunting the large rock on her finger. The second-to-last photograph captured the moment when the couple shared a sweet kiss. The other pictures captured the couple posing for the camera and their proposal set up. The daughter of the Disco Dancer star captioned the post, “06.12.2026 … The easiest forever I’ve ever known."

The post was quick to grab attention from her friends as well as the veteran actor’s fans, and well-wishers and friends from the industry alike, as everyone dropped their congratulatory messages in the comment section. Several shared their likes to it, including actress Celina Jaitly.

While reports mention that the couple is planning a December wedding, Mithun, however, has not yet given any official statement on the engagement or the wedding plans.

Prior to this, Dishani had also shared a post on Myles’ birthday on May 24. The post, a collage of their sweet moments together and some snaps of Myles in his element, featured the couple and their dog. She had captioned the post, “Love you forever, my birthday boy.”

As per reports, Dishani is the adopted daughter of Mithun Chakraborty and his wife, veteran actress Yogeeta Bali. She grew up alongside her brothers Mahaakshay (Mimoh), Ushmey and Namashi Chakraborty. Over the years, she has pursued a career in acting and filmmaking, studying the craft and appearing in short films.

For Manifest to become one of Cambridge Dictionary's most viewed words of 2024 — 1,30,000 hits and counting — it means some of us must have Googled it at least once. I know, I hit that search button over and over again
because each time I looked at it, I saw a new meaning.

Putting together a homegrown title at a time when the demise of print has been long announced may seem surprising...
...but it has long been a dream of mine to give India a magazine it deserves. A magazine that is the country.

And nothing, absolutely nothing, represents India more than our weddings. It is a time when families are brought together. Traditions come alive as they are adapted to each couple's beliefs. And lives are joined in a way that the romantic in me still enjoys.
