In an Instagram post shared by Aashna, she revealed that the two got married on 8 December 2025 in the presence of their friends and family. The post, featuring heartwarming moments from the couple’s wedding ceremony, was captioned, “When two states meet, you get to have two weddings! We wanted our families & friends to experience both of our cultures, so we started our day early morning, with the South Indian wedding & it was PERFECT! (sic)”

Her post indicated that their wedding celebrated both their cultures and was essentially a two-part function, one of which was a South Indian ceremony. The post featured a series of photos from their Jaimala ceremony, where the two were decked in cream coloured, coordinated outfits while Aashna’s South Indian drape, a tailor-made Jigar Mali sari, was paired with heavy gold jewellery.

However, this wasn’t the first time Aashna had shared a snippet from their wedding functions. She had previously also shared a series of photos from her mehendi ceremony, where she wore a custom red sharara with mirrorwork on the kurti from Anushka Khanna. The photos captured the couple sharing sweet moments at their mehendi ceremony. The images also featured the couple posing with their pet dogs.

Nonetheless, the news of their wedding doesn’t come as a surprise to the couple’s fans, as they had been anticipating a wedding ever since the couple announced their engagement in the Maldives in May 2025 via an Instagram post. Even so, their fans have had difficulty containing their excitement as the photos from the couple’s wedding ceremonies filled their Instagram timelines. The posts were quick to garner widespread attention as fans and their friends dropped their congratulatory messages in the comments.

We wish the couple a blessed life ahead as the two begin this new chapter in their lives.

For Manifest to become one of Cambridge Dictionary's most viewed words of 2024 — 1,30,000 hits and counting — it means some of us must have Googled it at least once. I know, I hit that search button over and over again
because each time I looked at it, I saw a new meaning.

Putting together a homegrown title at a time when the demise of print has been long announced may seem surprising...
...but it has long been a dream of mine to give India a magazine it deserves. A magazine that is the country.

And nothing, absolutely nothing, represents India more than our weddings. It is a time when families are brought together. Traditions come alive as they are adapted to each couple's beliefs. And lives are joined in a way that the romantic in me still enjoys.
