In contrast, the Hyderabad reception—hosted by Akhil’s parents, Nagarjuna and Amala Akkineni—was a nod to their roots and extended circle. Held at their residence, the reception saw the who's who of Tollywood, family friends, and prominent faces from the South Indian film fraternity.

The newly-wed Zainab turned heads in a soft peach lace gown with subtle shimmer and a cascading cape, keeping the overall look understated. Akhil chose a white tuxedo, staying true to the classic groom aesthetic with a modern twist. The décor leaned into understated luxury, with muted florals, warm lighting, and an inviting ambience. Akhil Akkineni’s wife, Zainab Ravdjee, is the daughter of industrialist Zulfi Ravdjee. The couple had been dating for and had kept their relationship private before tying the knot.
