There are only so many style icons who do it quite like Sonam Kapoor. Her fashion is unique, bold and every bit a statement in itself, irrespective of where she is and what she is wearing. Another one of her iconic moments has now surfaced and is making waves on the internet.

The actor who is expecting her second child recently shared images from her maternity shoot and it was everything strong, stylish and very like Sonam Kapoor. Dressed in all black, her photos that were released on January 19 captured her in her element, and this time, safe dressing was definitely not one of her plans.

Styled by Rhea Kapoor, Sonam opted out of oversized silhouettes and went straight for a bold minimalistic vibe. She chose a high-neck crop top that revealed her baby bump in the most subtle way, and layered it with a structured blazer featuring a double collar and notch lapels. Pairing it with a pencil-fit maxi skirt, Sonam added fluidity into her otherwise structured ensemble. She further accessorised her look with a delicate diamond pendant that sat elegantly on her collarbone. She wore a slim chain at the waist, sharply accentuating her silhouette. Her fingers were adorned by multiple rings stacked together, and a black Hermès bucket bag hung loosely from her hand, completing the entire look that gave way to a bold and intentional energy.

However, this wasn’t it. Her glam moment was elevated further with a shimmering eyeshadow, winged eyeliner, softly contoured cheeks and a nude lip colour that gave her look a rather polished finish while her hair was left loose with a centre parting.

Sonam had dropped the photos on January 19 on her Instagram handle with the caption, “mama’s day out,” and the post was quick to garner widespread attention as her fans and friends from the industry quickly dropped their compliments on her post.

For Manifest to become one of Cambridge Dictionary's most viewed words of 2024 — 1,30,000 hits and counting — it means some of us must have Googled it at least once. I know, I hit that search button over and over again
because each time I looked at it, I saw a new meaning.

Putting together a homegrown title at a time when the demise of print has been long announced may seem surprising...
...but it has long been a dream of mine to give India a magazine it deserves. A magazine that is the country.

And nothing, absolutely nothing, represents India more than our weddings. It is a time when families are brought together. Traditions come alive as they are adapted to each couple's beliefs. And lives are joined in a way that the romantic in me still enjoys.
