We love sturdy fabrics and structured silhouettes and gloomy color palette, but every now and then, we find ourselves gravitating towards Romancecore. The aesthetic that looks like poetry. Embracing pearls, lace, satin, florals, pastel color palette, and all-things soft and romantic is the way to go when you are looking to embrace your feminine energy. If you would like to channel this vibe, you might want to turn to Fatima Sana Shaikh for some major inspiration. For the promotions of her movie Gustaakh Ishq, Fatima has been dressing like the human embodiment of a love letter. Given that the movie is Manish Malhotra's debut as a producer, we're not surprised that Fatima has been delivering hard on the fashion front.

Take Notes From Fatima Sana Shaikh On How To Channel Romancecore

This delicate ivory lace sari from Manish Malhotra is as ethereal as it gets. The lace sari paired with a matching full-sleeved blouse with the cut-out detail makes for a perfect outfit for when you want to channel the soft romance aesthetic. We love that she has kept it very subdued with simple, dewy make-up and minimal jewellery. Not to forget, the kanautis add an extra layer of old-school romance to the look.

One element that screams soft romance? Off-shoulder necklines! This butter yellow sari from Aikeyah is a masterclass in soft romance. The 3D rose embroidery on the blouse? The off-shoulder neckline? The minimal embroidered sheer sari? Love! What’s interesting is that she has added a pop of color to the look with her necklace, which has burgundy gemstones, which she complimented with burgundy nails. We approve!

This champagne sari on Fatima is a slightly more subtle (although just as stunning) take on the old-school romantic aesthetic. The high-neck, embroidered blouse of her sari serves as the statement element in her otherwise subdued look. She has kept the hair and make-up simple and understated, which also extends to her jewellery, a couple of small studs and a tiny earcuff being the only jewellery in focus.

While still keeping the romance intact, Fatima upped the glam quotient a little with this stunning Manish Malhotra tissue sari. The embroidered lilac blouse has a nice plunging neckline which flatters her beautifully. And we don’t know about you, but we’re taking a cue from this look and wearing the silver and purple color combination more.

For Manifest to become one of Cambridge Dictionary's most viewed words of 2024 — 1,30,000 hits and counting — it means some of us must have Googled it at least once. I know, I hit that search button over and over again
because each time I looked at it, I saw a new meaning.

Putting together a homegrown title at a time when the demise of print has been long announced may seem surprising...
...but it has long been a dream of mine to give India a magazine it deserves. A magazine that is the country.

And nothing, absolutely nothing, represents India more than our weddings. It is a time when families are brought together. Traditions come alive as they are adapted to each couple's beliefs. And lives are joined in a way that the romantic in me still enjoys.

The fact that it comes with band, baaja and baraat — what's not to love? And that is the reason our first issue celebrates:
    THE NEW BRIDE.
