Pinterest has just released its Pinterest Predicts 2026 report, and the platform’s data is pointing to three beauty shifts that will define the year ahead: from layered fragrances, to deeper after-dark glamour and a wave of iridescent, almost celestial makeup. What is interesting is how naturally these global predictions line up with what is already happening here. 

With wedding season around the corner, Indian beauty routines are becoming bolder, moodier and more personalised, which makes the timing of this forecast feel almost tailor-made for us.

Across Indian cities, you can already see the signs. Guests are leaning into darker kohl and berry lips for evening functions. Makeup artists are reaching for chrome shadows and jelly-texture blushes because they catch the light beautifully during receptions.
