Details from Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s wedding in 2018 have continued to fascinate folks around the world over the years. Whether it was her wedding dress that featured little heartwarming details or the couple’s four-tiered lemon and elderflower wedding cake, the royal wedding had a lot to be talked about.

Speaking of their wedding cake, the delicious confection baked by Claire Ptak of East London’s Violet Cakes is back in the limelight. In an episode of her new Netflix series With Love, Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex whipped up a simpler version of her wedding cake and shared the recipes with the viewers.



ICYMI, Meghan is inviting her famous friends to her Californian estate and documenting it as she shares cooking, gardening and hosting tips with them on the show. For the first episode, Meghan invited her close friend and make-up artist, Daniel Martin, to her house. She whipped up a honey lemon layer cake with fresh raspberries for her friend. The delicious cake brought back some special memories for the two.

“Well, this is a delicious cake that I made for you. It has honey in it and lemon zest,” said Meghan to Daniel when he arrived to help decorate the cake. “You said lemon and it made me think of your wedding cake,” replied Daniel, to which Meghan exclaimed, "Oh my god, yes!”.

Prince Harry and Meghan’s wedding cake was also a lemon-flavoured one, only with elderflowers instead of raspberries.
