    The Love Hotel

    Love Hotel Bar
This edgy bar is in the heart of Lodhi ColonyThe Love Hotel

If you have ever wondered what a Japanese love hotel would feel like, head to The Love Hotel. A 20-seat sexy bar tucked away in Lodhi Colony is a discreet space featuring low, ambient lighting and edgy décor. Our favourite is the cheeky ‘love’ games and their ‘90s playlist, which we’d love to steal! The bar features deep reds and plummy merlot tones, which are equal parts sultry and inviting. An escape unlike any other, fun surprises await those drinking in the form of a cookie jar, letting guests take a playful memento of their night. As for the food, there are 12 small plates which perfectly pair with their cocktails. However, their cocktails are the star of the show, and we highly recommend The Dirty Little Secret is a colour-changing, refreshing sip with a playful hidden ingredient and the Love Bug, which comes with a crispy saltine.

    Naarma

The restaurant is inspired by the elements of natureNaarma

Inspired by primal elements of nature such as fire and water, Naarma has a distinct energy. Think hand-painted abstract murals, a striking rose installation and bold graffiti. The sound of gentle water fills the space while the lighting comes from the flames. It feels intimate and yet is perfectly balanced as it brings Chinese cuisine to the forefront. Think sushi and sashimi, fire-grilled creations, and Asian-inspired small plates.

    The interior of DramiqueDramique

The restaurant and bar are Delhi’s first theatrical dining spot where food, ambience, and performance culminate into a single experience. The interiors are sexy with velvet textures, mirrored panels, and sculptural lighting. There is a stage set which gradually reveals itself, creating an intimate dining area showcasing performance and late-night revelry. The menu features contemporary European dishes with a strong Asian influence, featuring dishes like carpaccio with truffle ponzu, nori tuna tartare, baos, skewers, and sharing plates, all served à la Française to keep the experience engaging. There are delicious cocktails obviously, to elevate the evening. And trust us when we say this, you will come back for more.

Welcome to the real life Willy Wonka chocolate factory!Manam Chocolate

So, there is a chocolate factory in the heart of Delhi which we cannot get enough of. Think molten chocolate flowing, delicious aroma in the air and corners where you can explore a Craft Chocolate Beverage Bar with nearly 30 drinks. Oh, also there is a ‘Make-Your-Own Tablet’ station, and a dining space where you get to view your favourite treats like cakes, cookies, and croissants too. There is also the Manam Café, an all-day casual dining space where chocolate and coffee speciality desserts come together. For anyone wanting to learn more about the cacao to chocolate journey, check out their physical display featuring miniature models to learn the craft of making Indian-origin chocolate.

    AABBCC Bar

    AABBCC Bar
    The desserts are a must-try here!AABBCC Bar

So, do you want to have a Thai curry or baingan ka bharta cocktail? The name might be simple, but AABBCC’s bar gets complex and for the good. Step into this bar, which is fun, wacky, but also swanky. Oh, there is also a self-playing piano! And if it hasn’t convinced you enough, you will see everything from black ants to rare herbs. It is unusual, but once you move upstairs, you will be welcomed by an omakase cocktail counter. The top floor, the Amp Room, is a quiet, moody lounge on weekdays, but on weekends, the lights go out, and it becomes an electric dance spot for live electronic music. As for the food, we recommend the chicken liver pâté and their lamb birria tacos for appetisers. End the night with a Kaffeine hazelnut mousse, which is yummy and a li’l boozy.

For Manifest to become one of Cambridge Dictionary's most viewed words of 2024 — 1,30,000 hits and counting — it means some of us must have Googled it at least once. I know, I hit that search button over and over again
because each time I looked at it, I saw a new meaning.

Putting together a homegrown title at a time when the demise of print has been long announced may seem surprising...
...but it has long been a dream of mine to give India a magazine it deserves. A magazine that is the country.

And nothing, absolutely nothing, represents India more than our weddings. It is a time when families are brought together. Traditions come alive as they are adapted to each couple's beliefs. And lives are joined in a way that the romantic in me still enjoys.
