Fans of C-dramas like Hidden Love, this one is for you. Based on the eponymous novel by Zhu Yi, the show talks about the complexities of love, longing, trauma and healing. The story follows Wen Yi, who is unexpectedly reunited with her high school crush, Sang Yan, years after their heartbreaking separation. This was one of the most highly anticipated series of 2025 and became the highest-ranked C-drama on Netflix upon its release.

Reborn
The story follows Qiao Qing Yu, who has to relocate with her family from their village to the big city after the tragic and mysterious death of her sister. To get closure for her family and herself, she decided to dig deep and look for the reason behind her sister’s death. In her tough journey, she’s helped by her classmate Ming Sheng, who stands by her steadfastly as she begins to uncover the shocking secrets behind her loss. Through the dark tragedy, Qing Yu begins to grow and heal, slowly developing feelings for Min Sheng, too. Can their love survive the trauma of her past? You’ll have to watch the show to find out.

We love a good historical C-drama, and this one ticks all the right boxes.
