It follows the love story of Sang Yan (Bai Jingting) and Wen Yifan (Zhang Ruonon), former schoolmates who share a not-so-pleasant past. When they reunite years later, they pretend not to know each other. However, fate puts them in each other’s lives again when they accidentally rent the same apartment and have to live together.
The C-drama is a mature romance that’s a slow, slow burn. It also focuses on the theme of healing, whether it’s childhood trauma or the baggage failed relationships carry.
