The 33-year-old singer-actor appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon along with her co-stars, Martin Short and Steve Martin from Only Murders in the Building, on September 9 and spilt the beans on some of her wedding plans.

Selena, who had announced her engagement to the music producer in December 2024, couldn’t contain her excitement when Jimmy asked about her wedding planning. She said, “It’s wonderful, I’m very lucky. It’s going well, I’m so excited,” with her smile growing by the second. Jimmy then asked if the couple would invite her Only Murders co-stars to their big day, and Selena almost immediately responded, “Of course they are; Marty’s the ring bearer.”
The revelation left the audience at Jimmy’s show guffawing as Martin Short leaned into the bit and dramatically presented an imaginary ring in a ‘Lord of the Rings’ Style. He declared, “Here’s your ring, Selena. Take it.” He further teased the crowd, saying, “We are all so excited because we love this lady and we love her fiancé, Bad Bunny,” to which Selena was quick to correct him before bursting into laughter. She shouted, “Benny Blanco!”
Short has been vocal about how he admires the couple on several occasions. Speaking on Amy Poehler’s Good Hand podcast previously, he had praised his co-star warmly, “I just adore her. I’m so happy that she’s marrying this fabulous guy, Benny Blanco, who’s one of the great, cool guys, funny, easygoing, and she adores him.”
