The club of parents-to-be keeps getting bigger and bigger as new members join in. And this time, actress Karishma Tanna and her husband Varun Bangera have taken a step into the club as the couple announced that they are expecting their first child.
The couple recently took to their Instagram handle on April 6 to share the news with their fans and their well-wishers. In the Instagram post, the actress shared a series of pictures from a sweet photoshoot with her husband and captioned it, "A little miracle, our greatest gift — August 2026."
The pictures featured the couple wearing matching baseball caps with the words, ‘Mom’ and ‘Dad’ written on them. Some of the photos captured the couple hugging, while one of the photos featured tiny woollen socks. Another picture captured Karishma flaunting her baby bump, and another showed the couple posing with their pet dogs. Another set of pictures featured the couple holding hands, posing, and spending time with each other. Several other photos featured collages of the couple, with their pets, posing and laughing together.
The post was quick to garner widespread attention from the couple’s fans and friends from the industry alike as they wished the couple a hearty congratulations in the comments. Actress Jasmine Bhasin, Anita Hassanandani, Kritika Kamra, Pulkit Samrat, Aly Goni, Khushi Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar, Kanika Kapoor and writer and film-maker Tahira Kashyap were among the many names from the industry who sent their warm wishes to the couple. While Indian television producer Ekta Kapoor commented, “Well, well sooooooo cute n how I have kept quiet about this,” on their post.
Karishma Tanna had tied the knot with businessman Varun Bangera in February 2022 and the couple are now all set to welcome their first baby. We wish the couple a hearty congratulations as they begin their new journey as parents.
