The wedding season has officially begun across the globe, and the wedding bells are ringing for some of our most beloved celebrities. Joining the soon-to-be married tribe, South Korean actor Kim Woo-bin, who was recently seen in Genie, Make A Wish, is officially tying the knot with his long-term partner Shin Min-ah.

The industry’s most beloved couple announced their decision to get married through their agency, AM Entertainment, on November 20, and the fans have not been able to contain their excitement ever since.

Kim Woo-bin also took the opportunity to share a handwritten letter with his fans, where he shared his decision to get married to Shin Min-ah. The letter read, "Hello, Uribin. This is Kim Woo Bin. I hope all of you have been doing well. The weather has suddenly gotten colder, so please stay warm and take care not to catch a cold. Today, I wanted to share some news with you first, the people who always give me unwavering love and support, even though I still have many shortcomings. Well… I’m getting married. I’ll be starting a family with the person who has been my partner for a long time, and we’re preparing to walk into the future together. It would mean a lot to us if you could send your warm wishes and support for our journey ahead. Until the day we meet again in person, please stay healthy and keep smiling. I’ll greet you again soon. Thank you always, Uribin."

Their decision to finally tie the knot comes after a decade of the couple dating each other. While sharing the news, their agency released a statement, "Actress Shin Min Ah and actor Kim Woo Bin have promised to be each other's companions based on the deep trust they have built through their long relationship," as reported by Sports Donga. According to reports, the ceremony is set to be held exactly a month from today, on December 20th. The couple intends to get married in Seoul in an intimate ceremony with only their close friends and family members in attendance.

The couple has been private about their relationship, but what we do know about their relationship is that the fan-favourite couple first met while shooting an advertisement together. They had later confirmed their relationship in 2015 and have been one of the most loved couples in the Korean entertainment industry ever since.

However, the duo has been strongly committed to keeping their relationship a low-key affair and has focused on keeping their romance separate from their work. The two even deliberately opted out of playing love interests in the K-drama Our Blues; instead, the only times fans spot the two is when they are on a holiday together or on quiet dates abroad.

Their relationship, nonetheless, has not been one without challenges. The couple stood strong with each other during some difficult times, especially when Kim Woo-bin was diagnosed with cancer in 2017. When the Uncontrollably Fond actor was diagnosed with nasopharyngeal cancer, Shin Min Ah stood by him through it.

As the couple prepare to begin the next chapter of their lives together, their agency asked their fans and well-wishers to shower their support and blessings on the couple. "We ask for your warm support and blessings for the future of these two individuals who have made this precious decision in their lives," the statement read. "They will both continue to work diligently as actors and strive to repay the love you have shown them."

For Manifest to become one of Cambridge Dictionary's most viewed words of 2024 — 1,30,000 hits and counting — it means some of us must have Googled it at least once. I know, I hit that search button over and over again
because each time I looked at it, I saw a new meaning.

Putting together a homegrown title at a time when the demise of print has been long announced may seem surprising...
...but it has long been a dream of mine to give India a magazine it deserves. A magazine that is the country.

And nothing, absolutely nothing, represents India more than our weddings. It is a time when families are brought together. Traditions come alive as they are adapted to each couple's beliefs. And lives are joined in a way that the romantic in me still enjoys.
